Halloween in Queens 2026: The Parades by Day, a 21+ Night in Woodside
Halloween in Queens 2026 has plenty going on without anyone crossing a bridge. On Saturday, October 31, there are parades in Jackson Heights and Forest Hills and a full day at the Queens County Farm Museum, plus a free afternoon in Astoria Park the Sunday before. Then, once the kids are home and the sitter has arrived, Starlets in Woodside opens at 11 PM for Brides of Chucky, the 21+ Halloween night party, and stays open until 4 AM.
Written by the Starlets team in Woodside, Queens.
For a lot of people in Queens, Halloween starts with a kid in a costume at 4 PM and ends somewhere very different. So here's the whole day, not only the part that happens after 11.

Halloween events in Queens, by date
Times for neighborhood events move around from year to year, so check with the organizer before you head out. Here's what's listed right now.
Sunday, October 25: Batty Over Halloween, Astoria Park. A free afternoon on the Great Lawn from 1 to 4 PM, hosted by the Central Astoria Local Development Coalition and now in its 11th year. It's a kids-in-costume, candy-and-games kind of event.
Saturday, October 31: Forest Hills Halloween Parade. This is the first year for this one. It's listed from noon to 1:30 PM, starting at Sybilla Street and 69th Road and ending at Metropolitan and Continental Avenues.
Saturday, October 31: Halloween on the Farm, Queens County Farm Museum. Listed from 10 AM to 5 PM, with trick-or-treating at nine candy stations around the farm, the three-acre Amazing Maize Maze, and Halloween hayrides. Tickets are listed at $15 to $25, and you need one bought online to get onto the farm that day.
Saturday, October 31: Jackson Heights Halloween Parade. Billed as the city's biggest children's Halloween parade. One 2026 listing puts it at 5 PM, lining up at 89th Street and 37th Avenue and marching down 37th Avenue to PS 69. Community Board 3's calendar shows a noon-to-5 PM window for the day, so confirm the start time that week.
Why stay in Queens for Halloween night?
The Village Halloween Parade in Manhattan is a great event, and if you've never done it, go once. But if you live in Queens, Halloween night in Manhattan means a long trip in, a long trip home, and spending a good part of the night in transit in a costume.
Staying local gives the night a different shape. The afternoon belongs to the neighborhood: parades, trick-or-treating, the farm. You get home, change out of the costume you wore for the kids, maybe into the one you actually wanted to wear, and you're out the door again without crossing a river.
Halloween Week at Starlets in Woodside
Starlets is at 49-09 25th Ave, Woodside, NY 11377, and it's open every night from 11 PM to 4 AM. For Halloween, the club is running a themed party every night from Wednesday to Saturday:
- Wednesday, October 28: Sinners
- Thursday, October 29: The Starlets CarnEVIL
- Friday, October 30: The Gothic Purge
- Saturday, October 31: Brides of Chucky

Brides of Chucky is the Halloween night party. The club's listing for October 31 currently shows one free drink and free entry until 12 AM, plus buy one bottle, get the second 50% off. That works well with a family Halloween: kids in bed by 10, sitter at 10:30, at the door before midnight.
If Saturday is all about the kids, go earlier in the week instead. The Gothic Purge is on Friday, October 30, and that date's listing currently shows free entry until 12 AM. The flyer doesn't mention offers, and they change from week to week, so check again before you go.
A few things to know:
- It's 21+. Everyone shows a valid government-issued photo ID, and the door has to see your face, so take off the mask for a second.
- There's no published costume policy. If you're not sure about yours, email management@starletsnyc.com and ask.
- Tables are by request. A VIP Reservation is reserved seating with table service for a small group. Every table is quoted, so send the request early for Halloween weekend.
Getting to Woodside from around Queens
Woodside is central, which is part of the appeal. From Jackson Heights, Astoria, Sunnyside or Long Island City, Starlets is a short car ride. The nearest subway stations are 46 St and Northern Blvd on the M and R, about three quarters of a mile away, and Astoria Blvd on the N and W, about 0.8 miles. The buses near the club finish by about 1:40 AM, so plan on a car home. The getting to Starlets guide has the full list.
For the Manhattan side of Halloween, including the Village parade and the clock change at 2 AM, see our Halloween 2026 night plan. If you want to make a whole night of Queens on a regular weekend too, planning a whole night in Queens is a good place to start.
