Halloween 2026 in NYC Falls on a Saturday. Here's How to Plan the Whole Night.
Halloween 2026 in NYC is on a Saturday, and that changes the whole night. The Village Halloween Parade steps off at 7 PM, the clocks fall back an hour at 2 AM, and the marathon starts the next morning. If you want Halloween to go late, Starlets in Woodside, Queens is open from 11 PM to 4 AM, and Halloween night there is Brides of Chucky, the last party of the club's Halloween Week.

If you're thinking about Halloween at Starlets, you probably have three questions: are you open, can I wear my costume, and do I need to book. Yes, ask first, and yes. The rest of this post is the long version.
Why Halloween 2026 is a different kind of night in NYC
When Halloween lands on a Tuesday, the city splits it across two weekends and the actual night is a little sad. This year there's no splitting. October 31 is a Saturday, so the parade, the parties and the late night all happen on one night with nobody worrying about work in the morning.
Two more things make this one unusual.
The clocks fall back at 2 AM. Daylight saving time ends early Sunday, November 1, so 2:00 AM turns back into 1:00 AM. Our hours don't change. Starlets is open 11 PM to 4 AM by the clock. The clock just happens to go backwards in the middle of the night, which makes for a long Saturday by anybody's math. Factor that in before you tell your ride to come at 4.
The marathon is Sunday morning. The NYC Marathon starts at 8 AM on November 1. If you're running it, we love you, go to bed. If you're not, expect some streets to close early Sunday and plan your ride home with that in mind.
The parade first, then Queens
The Village Halloween Parade starts at 7 PM at Canal Street and heads north up Sixth Avenue to 15th Street. This year's theme is "Body & Soul." It's free to march, but you have to be in costume: lineup is at Canal Street and Sixth Avenue between 6:30 and 9 PM, and spectators in street clothes can't join the route.
That timing works nicely with a late night in Woodside. March or watch, get food somewhere, and head to Queens around 10:30. On a map, Starlets is about six miles in a straight line from the parade's starting point, and the real route is longer, so give yourself time. Our guide to getting to Starlets has the nearest stations and the bus times.
Halloween Week at Starlets: four parties, Wednesday to Saturday
Starlets isn't doing one Halloween night this year. It's doing four. Here's the Halloween Week lineup from the club's flyer:
- Wednesday, October 28: Sinners
- Thursday, October 29: The Starlets CarnEVIL
- Friday, October 30: The Gothic Purge
- Saturday, October 31: Brides of Chucky
Every one runs on the usual hours, 11 PM to 4 AM, at 49-09 25th Ave in Woodside. Brides of Chucky is the Halloween night party itself, which makes it the one to plan around if you're doing the parade first.

The flyer doesn't list entry prices or offers, so check the events page for the date you're coming before you go.
Can you wear a costume to Starlets? What we can and can't tell you
Starlets hasn't published a costume policy, and we're not going to make one up in a blog post. If your costume has a full mask, a prop weapon, face paint that covers everything, or anything else you're not sure about, email management@starletsnyc.com before Halloween and ask. You'll get a real answer from the people running the room that night.
What we can tell you for certain: Starlets is 21+, and everyone shows a valid government-issued photo ID at the door. The person checking it has to see the face that matches the photo, so plan on lifting the mask for a second. That's the same rule as every other night. Our post on what the door actually checks goes into it.
If you need a costume idea for Halloween night, the party name hands you one. Brides of Chucky is the easiest theme of the week: a ruined wedding dress, a doll in overalls and a striped shirt, or the full Chucky-and-Tiffany couple. The Gothic Purge on Friday is a good night for those glowing Purge masks, as long as it comes off for the ID check.
Book the table now, not on October 30th
Doors for Brides of Chucky are at 11 on Saturday, October 31. Entry details change from week to week, so check the events page for the 31st before you go.
If you're bringing a group, sort the table out this week. A Saturday that's also Halloween, and the last night of Halloween Week, is not the night to walk up with eight people and hope. The options on the services page:
- VIP Reservation: reserved seating with table service, good for a smaller crew.
- Birthday VIP Table: a reserved table for the group, with a bottle minimum. Plenty of people have an October 31 birthday and never get a real party out of it.
- Bachelor / Bachelorette Night: a VIP table with a dedicated host, if the wedding happens to be close to Halloween.
Every table is booked by request and quoted, so send the request early and you'll know where you stand before the weekend.
A sample Halloween 2026 night, start to finish
- 6:30 PM: costume on, at the Canal Street lineup if you're marching
- 7:00 PM: the parade starts heading up Sixth Avenue
- 9:00 PM: food, somewhere you can actually sit
- 10:30 PM: ride to Woodside
- 11:00 PM: doors at Starlets for Brides of Chucky
- 2:00 AM: becomes 1:00 AM. Enjoy it.
- Before 4:00 AM: your ride home is already booked. Buses near the club stop by about 1:40 AM, so plan on a car.
